Whilst Acrilam’s panels are made from either a Moisture Resistant MDF or a Water Resistant MDI Alfresco Substrate and as with any wood based panels cannot be made totally waterproof, therefore all Acrilam panels manufactured using MDI Alfresco substrate in an outdoor application should be installed in an enclosed and roofed area to protect from the elements ie, direct rain, water and sunlight, all exposed edges on all Acrilam MDI Alfresco panels should be edged and completely sealed.

As for Acrilam panels manufactured using MR MDF substrate for internal installations the upmost care should be taken to wipe up spills immediately, ensuring the panels are not exposed to high or continuous levels of moisture, steam and humidity.
